In its October 1, 2026 coverage, The Real Deal reported that Compson Associates, led by Robert D’Angelo and Carl Klepper Jr., is seeking approval to add residential buildings to existing office properties in the Park at Broken Sound. The district has continued to evolve into a true mixed-use community since the City of Boca Raton approved it for mixed use in 2012.
Park Tower at Broken Sound
Located at 1075 and 1095 NW Broken Sound Parkway, Park Tower is planned as a 185,000-square-foot residential building with 97 units, 207 parking spaces, and approximately 2,100 square feet of retail and restaurant space. Ten residences are planned as affordable housing. The existing three-story office building on the 5-acre site is planned to remain.
The Bertani at Broken Sound
Planned for 6001 NW Broken Sound Parkway, The Bertani will offer 60 luxury condominium residences ranging from approximately 1,620 to 2,500 square feet, including six workforce housing units. Planned amenities include a pool deck, golf simulator, and resident lounge. Compson is developing 2.4 acres of the 5-acre site, with the new building replacing a surface parking lot beside an existing five-story office building.
Timeline
Boca Raton’s Planning and Zoning Board was scheduled to review Park Tower on October 1 and The Bertani on October 15. According to Carl Klepper Jr., both developments could begin construction as soon as next summer.
