The Real Deal: Compson Wins City Approval for Park Tower at Broken Sound

Boca Raton’s city council has approved Park Tower at Broken Sound, Compson Associates’ eight-story, 97-unit residential building in the Park at Broken Sound, as featured in The Real Deal.

  • Boca Raton’s city council voted 3-1 to approve Park Tower at Broken Sound.
  • The eight-story building will offer 97 residences on a 5-acre site at 1075 and 1095 NW Broken Sound Parkway.
  • Plans include a two-story parking garage and a separate 2,100-square-foot retail and restaurant building.

In its October 13, 2026 coverage, The Real Deal reported that Compson Associates, led by Robert D’Angelo and Carl Klepper Jr., received city approval to move forward with Park Tower at Broken Sound, part of the ongoing redevelopment of the 700-acre district formerly known as the Arvida Park of Commerce.

The Residences

Park Tower is planned for approximately 185,000 square feet of residential space, with 52 two-bedroom and 45 three-bedroom homes averaging roughly 1,470 square feet. Ten residences are designated as affordable housing. The project replaces an existing one-story warehouse, while the site’s three-story office building will remain.

A More Complete Mixed-Use Community

Site improvements include a new main driveway, an eight-foot path and new landscape and hardscape, and the project required no variances or waivers from the city. Speaking to the council, Compson’s Carl A. Klepper described the project as “thoughtfully redeveloping an already developed property” to create a more complete mixed-use environment within the Park at Broken Sound.
